In short: the app omkamal-reel-tools is a personal tool used only by its owner, Omar Kamal Hosney. It reads the owner's own Instagram reels, keeps the files on the owner's own computer, and does not share, sell or publish any data.

1. Who is responsible

Omar Kamal Hosney (Instagram @omkamal) runs this website and the tool described below. Contact: omkamal@gmail.com.

2. The app "omkamal-reel-tools"

This is a Meta developer app in development mode. It is a personal, single-user tool, and it is not offered to the public or to other Instagram accounts.

What it reads: through the Instagram API with Instagram Login and the permission instagram_business_basic, it reads the owner's own profile basics (username, account type) and the owner's own media list and media files (reels), including their audio.
What it does with it: it takes the audio of one of the owner's own reels and uses it as the soundtrack for a new video that is created and saved locally.
What it never does: it does not read other people's accounts through the API, does not read or send messages, does not post, comment or publish, and does not collect data about followers or other users.

3. Storage, sharing and retention

Downloaded audio, analysis files and generated videos are stored only on the owner's own computer.
The access token is stored in a private local configuration file and is never published or shared.
No Platform Data is sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models.
Files are kept only as long as the owner needs them and can be deleted at any time.

4. Data deletion

Because the tool is used only by its owner, there is no data held about other people. To remove the app's access to an Instagram account:

In Instagram, go to Settings → Apps and websites, open the Tester invites or Active tab, and remove omkamal-reel-tools.
Or email omkamal@gmail.com and any data tied to your account will be deleted within 30 days.

5. This website

This site is a static GitHub Pages site. It uses Google Analytics (Google tag) to count visits and see which pages are read. This may set cookies and send anonymous usage data (such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type) to Google. You can block this with your browser's privacy settings or an extension, or opt out with Google's browser add-on. The site does not ask for or store accounts, passwords or payment details. GitHub, which hosts the site, may also process technical logs as described in its own privacy statement.

6. Children

The site and the tool are not directed at children under 13.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
